Principal StokesPrincipal’s Message

“Next Level Learning: Ready, Set, Grow!”

Welcome to a new season of purpose, possibility, and promise at John G. Riley Elementary School. Each year brings a fresh opportunity to pour into our students, ignite their curiosity, and empower them to discover the greatness already inside them. This year, our theme—“Next Level Learning: Ready, Set, Grow”—reminds us that growth is not just an academic goal, but a journey of becoming.

At Riley, we believe that every child is capable of remarkable things. When given love, high expectations, meaningful instruction, and a community that believes in them, children will rise—every time. Our mission is to create an environment where students feel seen, valued, challenged, and supported as they grow into confident learners and compassionate leaders.

We are committed to:

•Elevating learning through engaging instruction that stretches minds and inspires thinking.

•Cultivating a culture of joy, respect, perseverance, and purpose—where every child knows they belong.

•Building strong partnerships with families and our community because we grow stronger when we grow together.

•Embracing innovation and equity so every student has access to the opportunities they deserve.

The work before us is meaningful. The work within us is powerful. And the work we do together will change lives forever.

Thank you for trusting us, supporting us, and believing in what’s possible for our children. As we embark on this year of “Next Level Learning,” let us move forward with faith, hope, and determination.

Ready for excellence.

Set for success.

Growing toward greatness—together.
