Supervision Hours: 7:45 a.m - 3:15 p.m.
Due to our dismissal procedures, students will not be dismissed from class between 2:20 p.m. and 2:50 p.m.

Principal's Message
“Let the Adventure Begin!”
Welcome to the 26-27 school year! I am honored and excited to be the proud principal at John G. Riley Elementary School. This is my 30th year in Education. This past year, I was the Principal on Special Assignment at Oak Ridge Elementary School. Prior to that, I served in Broward County Public Schools in various capacities including Speech Assistant, Teacher, Curriculum Specialist, Assistant Principal and finally, Principal. Student achievement has been at the forefront of my priorities as an Educator. I am passionate about my work in transformational leadership, and I look forward to continuing this work at John G. Riley Elementary School.
Our theme for this year is "Let the Adventure Begin". As we commemorate the school's 75th year, we also honor the visionary John Gilmore Riley whom the school is named after. It is my personal goal to help students reach their highest potential in all areas. I am fully committed to making this school year a success by providing an environment conducive to improving teaching and learning for all.
To ensure every child rises to his or her full potential, we must have a solid partnership not only between the home and school but also the community. Therefore, I invite you to join us in building this partnership in our quest to provide a world class education for every child. You are cordially invited to our School advisory Council (SAC), Parent Teacher Association (PTA), Parent Nights, and various initiatives.
I look forward to a fantastic 2026-2027 school year as we work together to reach our goal of an "A" school. Let the Adventure Begin!
